StoryGrab
Privacy Policy
Last updated: 28 August 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how StoryGrab ("we", "us") handles information when you use the StoryGrab app.
Information we process
- Account identifier. When you sign in with Apple, we receive a stable Apple user identifier and, if you choose to share it, your email. We do not receive your Apple password.
- Search input. The usernames you search are sent to our servers to fetch the stories for that account.
- Purchases. Subscription status is managed by Apple and our payment provider (RevenueCat). We never see your card details.
- Diagnostics. Aggregated crash and performance data to keep the app stable.
What we do not do
- We do not ask for or store your Instagram credentials.
- We do not sell your personal information.
- Your favorite accounts are stored locally on your device.
How we use information
To provide the core features (fetching stories, managing your subscription), to keep the service secure and reliable, and to comply with legal obligations.
Data retention & deletion
You can delete your account at any time from Settings → Delete account, which removes your account identifier from our systems. You may also contact us at the address below.
Third parties
We rely on Apple (Sign in with Apple, App Store), RevenueCat (subscription management), and a story-data provider to deliver story content. Their handling of data is governed by their own policies.
Children
StoryGrab is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country).
